Elysian Skills Training Class

This will be a Saturday morning class covering the following and more: terrain types and contour recognition, how to keep track of your location, some map exercises, and a lesson on control description symbols. These topics are all excellent for orienteers who have not had any prior technical training and have orienteered at Yellow or above. If you often don't know where you are, this is for you!

Preregistration and prepayment are required. The class is limited to 40 students. Don't delay!

Where specifically to meet at Elysian Park will be provided once you are signed up.

Bring: water, a snack, a watch, pencil, notebook, wear orienteering clothes

Required Waiver

Minors attending without a parent must bring this required waiver filled out by their parent for each event or they will NOT be allowed to participate. COOL participants are covered by a year-long waiver. Adults and parents with children may sign the waiver at the event.
